My portfolio consists of many examples that involve a personal experience. I believe that graphic design starts with a story and it
is my job as a graphic designer to tell one. The work about is one
of my favorite pieces of photography I have done that tells a story.
The goal of this piece was to introduce ourselves. I introduced myself through the experiences I had in the summer of 2016. This s where I changed as a person and became a designer. I got married, moved across the country and came back to Ohio to start my education.

The goal of this work was to create a wordmark that described me. After going through a long process of deciding what word to use, I choose the word 'Celestial'. After I choose my word, I sketched it out onto grid paper in many different ways. Once I was finished I picked the best wordmark and refined it. I created a set of zodiac constellations to accent my wordmark. I used the same process as my wordmark. From there I created a dark and light version to sell on Socidety6 and Redbubble.

The objective of the following surface design was to create a pattern with traditional media in photoshop. I started by scanning some icons I could use for an Army pattern. Then I scan in the texture of a silver, brown, and green sharpie. Lastly, I combined the color and line art in Photoshop to make many patterns that would go onto Redbubble products.

The objective of the following design was to create a logo, brand guidelines, and a factbook about the tourist office of the Netherlands.
I was inspired by the Netherlands artist Piet Mondrian.

The objective of this campaign is to make the hassle of traveling easier by using up&up products to make packing simpler. I reached my audience of travelers in-store, online and in the sky while they are on the go.
